In Opinew, you can integrate along with Attentive to create custom automation workflows for sending review requests and emails for customers who leave reviews.
Here’s how to do it: Go to Extra and Integrations -> Integrations

Then, click on Attentive and select Enable Attentive Integration.


Go to your Attentive dashboard and click on Marketplace and then on Create app:

There, give your integration app a name (we suggest Opinew Review Request Sequence) and an email. After that, select write for the Custom events dropdown. Finally click Save:

Once done, copy your API key and paste it back on the Opinew integration page, and click Save:


Good! You’re almost there, from now on your review request emails will be sent through Attentive but to do that you need to create a new Journey in order to send your review request emails there.
Go back to your Attentive account and select Journeys, then select Create Journey:

We recommend creating a new one from scratch but feel free to use one based on your needs. Then for the trigger select Opinew Review Request Sequence and click Continue:

After that we suggest selecting Notify subscribers about a transaction:

Now you will get to the Journey setup. Again, we suggest keeping it as simple as possible (just adding the email) and make all the required settings (delivery time) on Opinew. So now please select Send email under the trigger and then click on Use the drag and drop editor:

After that you can select one of your own templates or create a new one.
Once done the email editor will show up. Add the content blocks that you want, and in a text block edit and write the content you want on the email. To add Opinew’s merge tags that will be dynamically filled, click Insert variable on a text block:

Then select Triggering event and then Explore more or preview event data:

There the dynamic properties will show up. Now you can click on a property to copy it and add it to your email, for example the customer name or product name:

You can also add a button so your customers can leave you a review by adding a dynamic link to it, like this:

You can even click on Preview to see if your tags are working correctly. When you’re done editing your email, click on Save and return to Journey.
Finally if everything looks good, Turn on your Journey to start sending your request emails through Attentive:
