So many of you may be wondering the best way to go about it. Don't worry, we've got you covered. In this post, we're exploring the different options available to you when it comes to apps on the Shopify App Store for importing reviews.
We're going to be looking at ourselves as one of those options, not only because it's us, but honestly because we believe we're one of the best options out there (if not the best). But we're also going to offer an honest look at 9 other options you might find interesting. Without further ado, here are the 10 Best Shopify Apps for importing reviews.
#1 Opinew Product Reviews App UGC - By Opinew
Ratings: 4.9/5.0 ⭐
Opinew Pricing:
- Free Plan available
- Starter - $19/month
- Growth - $89/month
- Advanced - $199/month
- Enterprise - Starting at $499/month
Let's get it out of the way folks. We believe in ourselves and our product so we're not going to beat around the bush: most apps that let you import reviews to your Shopify store from other sites are limited in what they offer. Sometimes they only work for one particular marketplace or another; sometimes the process is a lot more manual (hands-on) than they'd have you believe, etc.
With Opinew you can import reviews from Amazon, AliExpress, eBay, and other top providers of your choice. Don't know how to do it with Opinew? Check out this Comprehensive Guide for Importing AliExpress Products and Reviews to Shopify here.
The process is simple. All you have to do is to find the right product, copy the link and paste it. You don't have to worry about CSV files or anything like that.
It's the most robust offer in this list: photo and video reviews, automated review request, importing reviews, customizable widgets, email marketing capabilities, coupons, SEO rich snippets, and amazing customer support.
But don't take our word for it, make a comparison by yourself and see if we're the best option for you.

#2 Amazon Reviews - By Reputon
Ratings: 4.8/5.0 ⭐
Amazon Reviews Pricing:
- Free Trial - 7 days
- Standard - $5.99/month
As we said, some of these apps will only let you import reviews from one site specifically but if that's in line with what you need, then maybe Amazon Reviews by Reputon is worth checking out.
The main thing that this app has to offer in our opinion is the fact that it's only 5.99 which is on the cheaper side of most apps out there.
#3 Trust Reviews - By Trust Apps
Ratings: 4.9/5.0 ⭐
Trust Reviews Pricing:
- Free Trial - 4 days
- Basic - $4.99/month
- Premium - $12.99/month
- Pro - $24.99/month
Trust Reviews lets you import reviews from Amazon, AliExpress, and with a CSV file if you're importing reviews from any other site. So that's at least one more than Amazon Reviews at a cheaper price (at only $4.99 in their lowest available plan, but it can go up to $99.99/month).
On the other side, their lowest plan is a bit limited. For example, if you're looking to get your reviews via review requests you'll only get 50 review requests per month. That may be fine if your sales volume currently matches that, but if that's not the case, you can get a lot more bang for your buck with pricier options.
#4 VIVA Reviews - By Sell The Trend
Ratings: 4.9/5.0 ⭐
VIVA Reviews Pricing:
- Free Plan available
- Plus - $4.99/month
ViVA Reviews is an interesting option because with it, you can import reviews from AliExpress, and the app also offers Free plan for those who want to try out. If your Shopify store isn't a business for you yet and you don't want to spend more money than you have to on something where you're not really sure what your return of investment will be, this app could work for you.
Their paid plan is only $4.99 a month and the option doesn't bring much flexibility. So we'd recommend checking them out if you're interested in exploring free options, but that's about it.
#5 Product Reviews + UGC with Q/A - By Hulk Apps
Ratings: 4.6/5.0 ⭐
Product Reviews + UGC with Q/A Pricing:
- Free Trial - 14 days
- Starter - $9.90/month
- Pro - $12.90/month
This app... almost shouldn't be included in this list because while you can import reviews from almost any site. Because they don't offer an automated experience to do so, you have to deal with CSV files yourself. If you're comfortable with that, go right ahead. Most Shopify users aren't that comfortable working with CSV files but rather copy and paste a URL and do a bulk import.
Why do we include them?
Because their app offers a lot of capabilities for a low price, but much like their importing, working with that app isn't going to be easy unless you are more knowledgeable and tech savvy. In our opinion, it's simply not an app for beginners or casual users.
Their plans start at $9.99/month.
#6 Product Reviews - By Shopify
Ratings: 3.4/5.0 ⭐
Product Reviews Pricing:
- Free
Product Reviews is a nuts and bolts solution. We mean that... it's not going to be super easy to use, it's not going to be the fastest or include the most features, but it has good bones. It has the basic things you need to do a decent job if you're willing to put in the work. It's Shopify's solution so it's free.
Like some of the other apps on this list that offer a free option, if you want to import reviews with this tool, you'll have to deal with CSV files and figure things out on your own. It's not a one-click, copy and paste kind-of-process.
#7 Multichannel Importer - By CedCommerce
Ratings: 4.8/5.0 ⭐
Multichannel Importer Pricing:
- Lite - $11/month
- Basic - $18/month
- Standard - $36/month
- Enterprise - $59/month
The interesting thing about multichannel importer is that it might be the only app that focuses exclusively on importing reviews. It's not an app that offers much in the way of managing or collecting your own reviews.
At $11.00/month, with Multichannel Importer you can import reviews from AliExpress, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Wish, Etsy... so it offers a pretty comprehensive list.
We're inclined to believe that might be because they focus exclusively on importing reviews. So if that's all you're looking to do, the app might be an option that works for you.
Do consider, however, that while importing reviews is a great way to get social proof fast, collecting your own reviews and building your own reputation is always the best way to go if you want to grow your business in the long term.
#8 Revyu - AI Powered Reviews - By NeoApps
Ratings: 5.0/5.0 ⭐
Revyu Pricing:
- Free Plan available
- Pro - $9.99/month
- Smart - $14.99/month
Revyu lets you import reviews from AliExpress, that's the only marketplace they mention in their description.
They make a lot of claims about an AI and having "your own personal robot" assisting you but, to be clear, that only seems to be included in their smart plan of $14.99/month, meaning it is not included in their "Freemium" plan or their "Pro" plan ($9.99/month).
Though they're limited in their review importing options (only AliExpress), they do offer review collection capabilities and seem to be a relatively comprehensive tool.
#9 EZ Importer - By Highview Apps LLC
Ratings: 4.8/5.0 ⭐
EZ Importer Pricing:
- Free - First 50 Orders
- Standard imports - Starting at $20/month
- Large imports - Starting at $200/month
Another option available to you if you want to import reviews to your Shopify store is EZ Importer. But we can't recommend this option because while it's "free to install", their plans start at $20/month and you still have to deal with CSV files.
Given the options we've looked at on this list, they simply don't stack up to the competition. There are other options that offer an easier way to import reviews at a lower price.
#10 Magic Review Importer - By Smart Ecom Tech
Ratings: 4.9/5.0 ⭐
Magic Review Importer Pricing:
- Free Trial - 30 days
- Unlimited - $9.99/month
With Magic Review Importer, you can import reviews from AliExpress and Amazon. It's not entirely clear whether or not they have a fully automated process or if they make you deal with CSV files. Given the fact that that they don't mention anything about CSV files in their description, we will go ahead and assume that you don't have to deal with those if you're using this app.
That being said, they have absolutely zero reviews so... you'd be taking the risk of being the first to try it out. And it's not free, the price starts at 9.99/month.
There are two things we can say in their favor: they're currently running ads to get users to try; the app hasn't gotten a bad review yet. It's just a matter of time before they start getting installed and reviewed by Shopify users.
The app launched in March 2021 and was new compared to the rest of the competition but still, they've had plenty of time to get a few people to try their app and review it, in our opinion.
That's our list for today, we hope you found it useful! Let us know if there's anything you think we missed, we'd love to hear from you.
