In Opinew, you can integrate along with Salesforce to get a custom notification when a review is left on your store. These notifications will show up on your main dashboard notification icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s how to do it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to get the notifications, you first need to create a custom app on Salesforce. Please follow this steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Type ‘App manager’ on the quick find box and click it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, click on ‘New Connected App’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the next step fill the required information, you can name your app as you want and place your email:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • On the next section please select the following configuration: <\/li>
  • Select ‘Enable Oauth settings’<\/li>
  • On ‘Callback url’ please type https:\/\/localhost<\/strong><\/li>
  • On ‘Selected Oauth scopes’ select Full Access<\/strong><\/li>
  • Then select the next 2 options<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Then you can leave the rest of the informatino empty and click Save.<\/strong> On the next page, click on Manage consumer details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Great! There you will see your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Copy them and place them on your Salesforce integration page, right after placing your domain, email apnd password like this: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After that please head to Manage connected apps<\/strong> on Salesforce and on your app, click Edit:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Then on Oauth policies <\/strong>please select Relax IP Restrictions<\/strong> and click Save<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Awesome! Lastly, we will need a custom notification ID. <\/strong>Here’s how to get it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Type custom notifications<\/strong> on the quick find box and click it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Then click on New <\/strong>and fill the fields, when finished click save:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Now click on the Gear icon in the top right corner and click on \u2018Developer Console\u2019 to open it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the bottom panel, click on Query Editor tab and check the \u201cUse Tooling API\u201d checkbox, and execute the following query:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Select Id,CustomNotifTypeName from CustomNotificationType<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There you will find Your Salesforce custom notification ID<\/strong>. Copy it and paste it on your Salesforce integration page in Opinew. Finally click Save.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
